Reproduction Black M1 Garand Bayonet w/M7 Scabbard
While the U.S went into WW2 with a relatively advanced rifle, the brutal simplicity of a bayonet required much less refinement. As a result, the United States entered the conflict using the WW1 era Model 1905; the only distinction being factory parekirazation, along with use of synthetic grips and scabbards. In 1943, the M1 "Short" Bayonet was introduced. The blade length was reduced to only 10" with its fiberglass M7 scabbard shortened accordingly. Manufactured from 1943 to 1945, these would see use even into the Vietnam War.
