Got two different variations. One appears to be an aircrew top with Velcro cuffs and more soft velcro. The other was a more standard buttoned cuffs and the standard two soft velcro on the shoulders. Overall great quality though unlike American tops a medium regular is more like a shirt than a field jacket. If you like your jackets longer go up to a regular long. I'm 5'9 and the jacket is just long enough.

I received my jacket in the mail, and I must declare — it is of the utmost quality. The wool is appropriately itchy, as all respectable wool should be. One must feel one’s garments to truly appreciate their craftsmanship. Is it truly wool worthy of wearing if it does not ever so slightly exfoliate whilst worn? I personally believe this not to be so.

Any and all citizens will surely marvel at the quality and durability of these fine threads. It is a coat of such substance that one feels immediately more dignified merely standing near it.

It carries no fragrance — a most neutral scent. I mention this only because I recently received another article of clothing which reeked of the glory of motor oil, horsepower, and heroism.

This particular coat, however, fits splendidly. It flatters the form most agreeably, and I must confess, I find myself rather flattered in return. I appear, somehow, even more attractive than I already am — which, as I assure you, is no small feat.

I scoff at the sissies that ordered this coat and b* tched and moaned about the smell. They expected roses, perhaps? No, this is the unapologetic fragrance of horsepower and heroism.

Even my cat was overwhelmed. She sniffed the coat, her eyes widened in disbelief, and she fled the room — avoiding even the chair where the coat now rests in regal solitude. She will either acclimate to smell or reveal herself as an ugly woman cat with questionable taste.

Literally all of this is true - my cat really is uncomfortable and it does smell of shop rag -

Alpenflage shirt looked brand new.
Shipping was quick and reasonable.
Sizing was accurate, but if layering anything more than a light fleece underneath get a size up.
Overall, i am extremely satisfied and will order more items in the future.

I ordered two, unfortunately I received the zip up version. However after washing i wore one to a job interview, I got the job. Unissued as sold great condition colors is fantastic, truly great for formal wear for any occasion.
