AP Field Watch Manual
ABOUT YOUR WATCH
The AP Field Watch draws aesthetic inspiration from the A-11, the specification watch issued by the U.S. military to navigators and infantry during World War II. AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT
Your watch is powered by a self-winding (automatic) movement. It winds itself through the natural motion of your wrist as you wear it. When worn regularly, it requires no battery and will run indefinitely. If your watch has been sitting unworn for several days, it may stop. Simply wind it by hand using the crown: unscrew it slightly, then rotate it clockwise 20-30 times. Screw the crown back in firmly.
SETTING TIME & DATE
Unscrew the cap and pull the crown out to the first position to adjust hours and minutes. Rotate the crown to set the correct time. Push the crown back in and screw it down securely.
On models with a date dial, the first position can be used to set the date. The second position will set the correct time. All other operations are the same.
WATER RESISTANCE
Your watch is rated 5 ATM (50 meters) water resistance. This means it can withstand rain, hand washing, and splashes. Do not submerge it or expose it to high-pressure water. Always ensure the
CARE & MAINTENANCE
DAILY CARE
Wipe your watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and moisture. The matte titanium case is scratch-resistant but not scratch-proof. The sapphire crystal will resist scratches far better than any other transparent material.
LEATHER STRAP CARE
Your Horween leather strap will develop a beautiful patina with time and wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture; if it gets wet, allow it to air-dry naturally. Occasionally condition the leather with a leather care product designed for watch straps. Swapping your strap is simple. Standard 20mm spring bars fit most aftermarket leather, NATO, canvas, or rubber options
SERVICING
The Seiko NH35 movement is robust and widely serviced. We recommend a complete service every 5–7 years, or sooner if the watch has been exposed to shock or moisture. Any competent watchmaker can service this movement; parts are readily available.
TROUBLESHOOTING, SUPPORT & WARRANTY
WATCH HAS STOPPED
Wind the watch by hand (see "Automatic Movement" section).
If it still does not run, contact a watch repair shop.
WATCH IS RUNNING FAST/SLOW
All automatic watches have some variance. The NH35 is rated at ±20 seconds per day.
Minor adjustments require a watch shop. Small variations are normal and do not indicate a defect.
WATER INSIDE THE CRYSTAL
Stop wearing the watch immediately and contact a watch shop. The case may need resealing.
LUME IS FADING
Luminous material fades over time with exposure to light. This is normal and does not affect accuracy or function.
SUPPORT & WARRANTY
Your AP Field Watch is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers movement failure, case defects, and crystal damage, excluding normal wear, abuse, modification, or damage from water exposure beyond the rated 5 ATM limit.
CLAIMING WARRANTY
Contact our team with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue. We will evaluate your watch and repair or replace it at no cost if it qualifies under this warranty.
